Hi, I’m Caity.

Inspired by local ecologies, time-honored rituals, and family dinners, I believe encouraging people to wrestle with the depths of grief, joy, and hope in this climate-changed era is one of the most important tasks of our time.

What I do…

Listen

One of the most important ways we can build community resilience is to listen…to our neighbors, to our bodies, and to those who have come before. Click here to see who/what I am astutely listening to these days.

Create

I am always creating something, whether it is with words through the creation of new prayers, poems, or liturgy, or with colorful ink to create new letterpress or linocut designs. Click here to access some of my favorite projects.

Lead

One of my greatest joys is to bring people together, and preferably with food involved. Click here to learn about some of my favorite ways I have brought people together.

Preach

I have had the honor of guest preaching at many Protestant congregations throughout New England. Click here to read and listen to a selection of my favorite sermons.

Communicate

Good communication is essential to effective change. I have 15 years of experience and training in environmental education and communication. Click here to explore what I have done.

I feel most at home when I am outside and amidst the messy root system of so many plant species. Finding inspiration from their networks, I create dynamic and accessible systems of belonging so that we can build spiritual resiliency for this climate-changing era.
